We are immensely proud to announce that four students from King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool have won the Knife Crime Art Competition at The Florrie which saw over 400 students take part. Students from Year 7, 8 and 9 created posters depicting the devastating effects of knife crime on the community.
The winning entries will be displayed around the area and our four students, Sonny Woods Y9, Kaden McDonald Y9, Megan McCoy Y9 and Sonny Alfie O’Brien Y7, each received a £25 voucher for Liverpool One.
There will also be a follow-on play called ‘Cut’ which pupils will be invited to watch. This is a play on knife crime and the damaging effects it can have on the victims’ and attackers’ families and the local community.
Well done to everyone who took part.
